Revisit the myth of Medusa and her petrifying gaze in the sequel to the popular dice slot game Medusa! The elements are well known: scatters and wilds all over, and Medusa can fix reels so that the identical symbols appear for bigger wins!
Medusa II is a dice slot game with 5 reels of 3 dice. You make the reels spin, which will reveal a combination. If you have at least 3 identical symbols consecutively from the leftmost reel along one of the winning combinations, you win cash. Different symbol combinations have different payouts, and winning lines can’t be changed. There are 243 winning combinations in total. You can find an overview of the values of all symbols in the help file by clicking the “i” button in the lower left corner.
Before you start playing, you can set a stake. As there are winning combinations instead of winning lines, you can only change the base stake size. Your final stake will always be this base stake multiplied by 25. You can set a base stake with the up (blue) and down (red) arrows in the lower left corner, to the right of the “i” button. By default the stake is set at €0.03 (for a total stake of €0.75), and the following options are possible:
To see your total stake, check the “total bet” field in the upper left corner. You can change your stake at any moment, except when the reels are spinning, during autoplay, and during free spins.
When you’ve decided a total stake size, you can start playing. To do so, just click the green start button in the lower right corner to make the reels spin. As they spin, you can stop them manually by clicking the same button after it becomes a red stop button. Click again to continue.
Alternatively, you can use autoplay, which is activated through the button to the left of the start/stop button. Clicking this button will bring up an options menu. Just click the automated spins of your choice to start playing them. To stop autoplay, you can click the stop button that replaces the autoplay button.
During any regular spin, it’s possible for a soldier to appear on a reel to attack Medusa. She will turn him into stone, and a full stack of wilds will appear. This means that a whole reel will be all wilds. This random bonus can appear on any of the 5 reels, but does not happen in free games.
Medusa can pop up at random to lock reels. This means that the reels where she appears will have the same symbols. This can happen to 2, 3, 4, and 5 adjacent reels at a time, on all reels. Thanks to this random bonus, it’s much easier to get big wins, as you’re guaranteed to have at least 2 reels right for a winning combination.
If you get 3 or more scattered symbols, you will win 10 free games to be played at the total stake you had when you won them. During these free games, Medusa’s locked reels will always be present during every spin.
Every win you make can be used to gamble. In the gamble round, you get to predict the colour or suit of a playing card. Guess correctly and your wins will be doubled (for the correct colour) or quadrupled (for the correct suit). If you guess correctly, you can continue for a total of up to 5 guesses. If you’re wrong, you lose all the wins you had up till that point, and are returned to the main game. The Gamble round is not obligatory and can be left at any point by collecting what you already won.
Please note that wins from free games can only be gambled with after the 10 free games have all been completed.
