Football: PSG players' commitment questioned

The players of Paris Saint-Germain are certainly talented, but they also make a (bad) name for themselves when it comes to discipline and commitment. RMC Sports revealed on March 21 a story from last year that once again calls into question how serious the Parisian team takes its job, as they did not seem to be affected by their defeat in the 8th final of the Champions League.

The wrong time to celebrate

It was in their March clash against Real Madrid that PSG lost 3-1, marking the beginning of the Spanish club's Remontada. It was a new defeat for the players who had already planned to celebrate their victory in advance.

Annoyed fans

The Paris Saint-Germain players spoke too soon, as they had already organised their post-match celebration party long before the match took place. This behaviour made the fans furious, as some of them even said they wanted to stay and celebrate despite the defeat they had just lost.

The players' decision was deemed irresponsible by their president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, who did not hesitate to call them to order by demanding that they return to Paris with the rest of the team.
