Football: VAR intervenes twice in favour of Amine Adli in the Bundesliga

Bayern Munich lost their third game of the season to Bayer Leverkusen, 2-1, despite being second in the Bundesliga table. After a goal from Joshua Kimmich, the Neverkusen (nickname given to the team for never having been German Champions) took the lead in the second half.

A stunt against Bayern

Leverkusen striker Amine Adli received two yellow cards for simulation, which were cancelled and converted into a penalty a few moments later.

Indeed, Amine Adli was twice acquitted by the VAR. The first was in the 54th minute when Benjamin Pavard stepped on his heel. The second time was twenty minutes later when he was touched by Dayot Upamecano.

A very unlikely situation that made the spectators smile.
