RAFC – Standard review: the King of Fun brought fun for all!

Last Sunday, RAFC hosted Standard Liège at the Bosuil stadium in a thrilling game that ended a little disappointingly for the home crowd in a 2-2 draw. The King of Fun was present for RAFC sponsor Golden Palace, and he brought plenty of entertainment, as you can see from the video below!

Sunday at 6 p.m., RAFC squared off with the treacherous Liège side Standard for a crucial game in the top five of the Belgian Pro League, as a win would launch The Great Old to second place. RAFC controlled the match and seemed on the winning path with (as predicted) goals by top scorers Lior Refaelov and Dieumerci Mbokani. Two goals by Standard strong man Renaud Emond brought the opposing team back to a somewhat bitter but altogether not unreasonable 2-2 draw by full time.

Of course, the King of Fun was present to fire up the home crowd. The mascot for RAFC sponsor Golden Palace entertained the crowds wonderfully as always. Fans of The Great Old were treated to a giant dice game, a football roulette, and more! Now everyone knows that everywhere the King of Fun shows up, fun is had by all! The King of Fun is already looking forward to the next RAFC home game, on Saturday, October 26 against KV Kortrijk. We’re hoping to see you there too, for another round of fun for all!

Remember: RAFC and Golden Palace form a golden team for fun in sports!
