Who will leave victorious in Europe’s premier club competition: Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur?

On Saturday at 9 p.m. Liverpool takes on fellow English side Tottenham in the Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.

Will Klopp lift his first trophy as Liverpool coach?

Liverpool (@2.00) produced one of the greatest comebacks in Champions League history to beat Barcelona 4-0, overturning a three-goal first-leg deficit and advancing to their second successive final with a 4-3 aggregate victory. After losing one match all season, accumulating 97 points, the Reds will enter the final as favorites to lift the trophy. The Reds will be looking to go one step further than last year, after losing 3-1 to Real Madrid after a Loris Karius blunder and a spectacular overhead kick by Gareth Bale. Jürgen Klopp’s men have faced Tottenham twice in the Premier League this year and both games resulted in 2-1 Liverpool wins.

  • Spurs have never won in Spain, where their overall record is D3 L3
  • Liverpool have lost just one of the teams' last 14 meetings dating back to the start of 2013, winning nine

Expect plenty of drama in all English final!

Tottenham (@4.00) trailed Ajax 3-0 on aggregate at half-time of their second leg semi-final tie in Amsterdam - but a second-half hat-trick from Lucas Moura - including a 96th-minute winner - sent Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs through to their first Champions League final on away goals. Tottenham finished the Premier League season in fourth place, winning one of their last five league matches. Jan Vertonghen (ankle), Davinson Sanchez and Danny Rose (both thigh) missed the final day of the league season but should all shake off niggling injuries. Tottenham has never won the Champions League before and is making its first appearance in the finals.

  • Five of the last six CL finals have seen at least three goals scored, including extra time
  • Tottenham have won four of their eight matches against fellow English sides in UEFA competition (D1 L3)

Senegalese forward Sadio Mane has struck the back of the net 13 times in Liverpool’s last 16 games. He has netted four times in this season’s Champions League campaign, making him the joint top scorer for the Reds alongside Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino. The in-form attacker also scored in last season’s Champions League final loss to Real Madrid.
